3rd Line IT Support Engineer

My client is actively seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer specializing in Infrastructure, Server, and Desktop support to join our team stationed at a customer site Wiltshire.

A crucial aspect of this role involves hands-on experience with Windows Server Operating Systems and a demonstrated proficiency in configuring and managing virtual environments, specifically utilizing VMWare technologies. Your mastery will be instrumental in upholding the functionality of client systems and fostering overall customer satisfaction.

• Administration of Windows server systems (preferably from 2019 onwards - possessing a Microsoft Certification would be beneficial)

• Configuration and administration of VMware and/or Nutanix platforms (holding a VMware certification would be advantageous), encompassing VMs, physical and logical networking, as well as datastores (both local and SAN/NAS)

• Management and administration of Windows desktop environments (specifically Windows 10)

• Proficiency in conducting audits and maintaining documentation for various aspects including:

• Physical Server Builds & Configuration
• NAS/Storage Build & Configuration
• Windows Server VM/OS and Key Application Configurations

Windows Desktop OS and Key Application Configurations

• While not mandatory, experience in Linux Administration would be advantageous
