A specialist IT support company working with manufacturers, universities and healthcare services are looking for a new member to join their team.

They're looking for a 2nd / 3rd Line Support IT Engineer with an all-rounded set of skills and particularly well-developed abilities in Office365, Windows Server, virtualisation technologies, and networking knowledge.

The company is willing to invest heavily in its employees, paying for any certifications you may have been looking to attain over your career.

They are heavy on training, keen to promote you into a 3rd line position as soon as you are comfortable with the requirements of the role.

Main Responsibilities: -

  • 2nd line and some 3rd line support
  • Act as the point of escalation for 1st and 2nd line technicians
  • Troubleshoot, manage and maintain Windows Servers and virtualisation technologies
  • Administrate and support Office365 migrations

Essential Skills: -

  • Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • VMware / Hyper-V
  • Experience with Switches, Routers and Firewalls
  • Office365 Migrations
  • Exchange 2010 / 2013 / 2016
  • Active Directory / Group Policy
  • Windows Desktop 7 / 8 / 10

Desirable Experience: -

  • Linux
  • Mac
  • Azure
