Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Teaching Assistant to work in a school in East Hull. This exciting opportunity is available immediately and will last until the end of the academic year.

Position Details:

  • Location: East Hull
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Until the end of the academic year
  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM (mornings only)
  • Rate: £13 per hour

Duties of a 1:1 Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide individualised support to a student with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Assist the student with academic tasks and personal development
  • Implement strategies to promote the student's learning and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and record the student's progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • Understanding of SEND and experience working with students with diverse needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting students
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable
