1:1 Teaching Assistant - Dover

- Full-time, long-term role starting ASAP

- Supporting Y2 and Y3 pupils on a 1:1 and 1:2 basis; both of which have ADHD

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you have a special interest in supporting pupils with ADHD? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant Primary School in Dover on a full-time, long-term basis.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to pupils with ADHD, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing one-on-one assistance to pupils with ADHD, ensuring they are fully engaged and supported in their learning. - Implementing individualised strategies and interventions to help pupils manage their symptoms and succeed in the classroom.

- Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

- Promoting positive behaviour management techniques and fostering a nurturing and empowering atmosphere for all pupils.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with ADHD or additional needs.

- A patient and empathetic nature, with a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional well-being of young learners.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

In return for your dedication and hard work, Tradewind Recruitment offers:

- £80 per day - paid weekly in arrears
