1-1 SEN TA - York

Prospero Teaching are looking for 1:1 SEN TA's across York
As a SEN TA you would be required to offer support to the student either in a classroom setting or individually, working with them through adaptive work and helping resolve any issues.
We are looking for dedicated tutors to work 1-2-1 with a young student with ASC and SEMH needs.
If the right candidate is found it will be a long term position lasting till the end of the school year.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
· Location - York
· Position - 1-1 SEN TA
· Subject - Core Subjects / Functional skills / life skills
· Start date - ASAP
· Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
· End date (if applicable) - End of School Year
· Contract type - Long Term
· Full time/part-time - Full Time
· The minimum rate of pay - GBP £77 a day
· Hours - 8:30am - 4:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Any SEN course or CPD
· Previous experience working in a UK school
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references
