What we do
Westbank is a registered charity established in 1986 to promote and improve the health and wellbeing of people in the local community, across Devon and beyond.
Our work
The work we do is diverse, here are just some of the ways we help people:
- We provide Devon Carers & Young Carers support services on behalf of Devon County Council;
- We run out pioneering Diabetes Prevention Programme on behalf of the NHS;
- Our volunteering department enable people to stay safe and independent in their own homes and improve their quality of life;
- Our gym and fitness services at Exminster and Budleigh support older people and those with chronic illnesses remain fit, mobile and independent through exercise;
- We provide a lively and active day centre for older clients; and
- Our Kidzone provides high quality childcare after school and in school holidays.
