Working at SAFE! Support for Young People Affected by Crime

SAFE! is the only charity dedicated to supporting young victims of crime across the Thames Valley. Our vision is clear - for children and young people to feel safe, thrive and achieve their potential. We are proud of the difference we have made to the lives of thousands of children and young people across the Thames Valley since we began in 2008.

SAFE!’s child-led and trauma-informed services put the child at the heart of the provision throughout. Providing a range of interventions including 121 support and groupwork, we adopt a flexible support model where the content of each intervention varies, informed by initial conversations, and tailored to the needs and wishes of the young victim, helping them regain agency and control that was lost during the crime.
