Working at Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group

What we do

The Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group was established in 1985 to provide high quality care for older people. The philosophy of each of our nursing homes is to provide professional, skilled and empathetic individual care. We pride ourselves on our warm, inclusive approach to residents and extend this welcome to families and visitors.

Throughout our 30+ years, our reputation for providing high quality accommodation, dedicated and experienced staff and proactive, hands-on management has contributed to our strong position in the Scottish nursing home market. Our nursing homes across Scotland are given operational and administrative support from the head office in Edinburgh; all meet the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (SCSWIS) standards and each one is subject to our own rigorous quality audits.

We are large enough to be able to provide the support to our team that is required - like a good supportive management structure, detailed policies and procedures, regular and comprehensive training; while still small enough to avoid being overly bureaucratic and to be able to make the right decisions to fit every circumstance.

We have created a career structure that allows our nurses to progress their career as far as they’d like, with incremental steps so that you can move on at each stage allowing you to progress from day-to-day nursing to management in bite-sized chunks.

We offer a rate of pay that is competitive with both the care home sector and the NHS. Our starting rate for nurses is £18 per hour, equating to around £37,440 salary for a full-time role along with a £1,500 joining bonus when you start working with us as a nurse.

Our starting rate for care assistants is from £10.30 going up to £12.42 per hour with an annual salary range of £21,424 - £25,833 for a full-time role.
