Your main responsibilities:

1. To undertake heating engineering & plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing installation of boilers & other appliances.
2. To undertake the installation of new domestic heating systems in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, industry best practice codes and practice and legislation. 3. To issue notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety.
4. To attend appointments as scheduled and instructed.
5. To adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances.
6. To provide information to allow records to be updated following service and Testing and issue Landlord Gas Safety record using electronic or manual documentation.
7. To manage stock from authorised suppliers, materials required to undertake works through the approved order system
8. To take part in the on call system to provide 24/7 emergency cover across our property portfolio.
9. To drive company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner and to ensure that the vehicle is maintained to appropriate standards.
10. To ensure that vehicles operated by the gas and plumbing team are operated in a safe and courteous manner and represent the company in a positive way to our residents and the general public.
11. To complete all relevant training and certifications as required by regulations.
12. To maintain regular contact with the Team Leader and colleagues to obtain instructions and resolve working problems.
13. To record completed works and maintain accurate record of work carried out including measurements and calculations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
Participate in out of hour’s works, including overtime, call out etc.
Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards.
Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers.
Follow any other reasonable request from management
