Working at Disability Advice Service (East Suffolk)

We are a friendly local charity based in Martlesham Heath providing advice and support to people with disabilities, their families and carers and changing the lives of people in crisis across East Suffolk.

We offer FREE services including:

• Benefits advice – If you need a benefit check or assistance with completing welfare benefit forms, we will be able to help you with that face-to-face (by appointment only) or over the phone.
  
  
• Crisis work – If you found yourself in an extremely difficult situation and need immediate support with housing, food vouchers etc., please contact us as soon as possible!
  
  
• Appeals with DWP – If you are not satisfied with the award you received, we can assess your case and assist with appealing decisions from Mandatory Reconsideration to Tribunal representation.
  
  
• Signposting – If we cannot help you ourselves, we will be able to refer you to relevant organisations which are specialising in providing the help you need.
