Founded in 1972 in Padrón (A Coruna), CORTIZO is currently the European reference in the sector and the first manufacturer and distributor of aluminum and PVC profiles for architecture and industry in Spain. It has more than 2800 employees. In 2017 it reached a turnover figure of 554 million euros and a production of 75,824 tons of aluminum and 958,000 PVC bars.

CORTIZO has 9 production centers located in Padrón (A Coruna), Manzanares (Ciudad Real), Granadilla de Abona (Tenerife), Mieres (Asturias), Poland, Slovakia and France. Present in more than 30 countries, it has 31 Distribution and Logistics Centers. The company distinguishes itself by internally completing the integral production cycle, thus ensuring rigor in each procedure and the quality of the media and materials used throughout the process.

ARCHITECTURE DIVISION
Your R + D + i Department has designed more than 50 exclusive systems of windows, doors, facades, composite panels, railings and state-of-the-art solar protection systems; Investing annually more than 72,000 hours in research. Likewise, CORTIZO offers architecture professionals all the necessary technical support in the field of enclosures. In the last year, its Department of Architecture and Engineering has accumulated 26,000 hours of consulting, which has been reflected in more than 1,000 architectural projects and more than 20,000 technical consultations during the last year, attended by the 23 offices that cover the entire European territory.

INDUSTRIAL DIVISION
The Industrial division of CORTIZO puts at the service of its customers the know-how acquired in its 43 years of experience, being at the forefront in specific solutions in aluminum for the industry. Proof of this are its more than 34,000 different matrices, with designs for sectors such as automotive, transportation; the railway, aeronautical, naval, wind or photovoltaic industries, mechanical and electrical engineering, lighting, furniture, etc.
