Working at AliMo Care Ltd

What we do

AliMo Care is an independent home care provider offering a range of care and support services to people living in their own homes across Bristol & South Gloucestershire.

Working with clients who come to us either by way of mouth, local authority or NHS contracts, we provide services from companionship, and light housekeeping or shopping to complex and end of life care.

We know that our care team members have one of, if not the most important role within the company so, it's important to us that you feel valued and that you are happy, and supported in your role. Therefore to show our appreciation, alongside our exellent pay terms, we offer a range of benefits including  24 hour on call support, regular 121 meetings, wellbeing support package, free breakdown insurance, free health cover with access to a 24hr private GP, bonuses and a free Blue Light Card.

We were the first home care provider in the South West, and quite possibly within the UK to offer a home care team a fixed annual salary that ensures that everyone is paid from the start of the first call, to the end of the last. This means that any cancelled visits, gaps, wait time, and travel time is always paid. We will even pay your full pay, if it is your day to work and you have NO visits in the day! By doing this, we make sure that you will always have peace of mind. You will always know exactly what you will earn each month, allowing you to budget and perhaps even to start saving for those special events or rainy days.

We will support and encourage you to achieve diplomas in Health & Social Care, and to complete any additional, relevant  training that you have an interest In. We have an excellent track record of promoting from within, with each one of our team leaders, and senior staff members having joined us as a care worker. Our office is also fully staffed with ex AliMo carers, all of whom keep up to date with their training and regularly go out and assist the team to cover visits and runs for the day.

On becoming part of the AliMo family, you will be assigned a regular run which allows you to build close and meaningful relationships with your own set of clients. This gives you greater involvement in a persons' day to day support and by building relationships and gaining an in-depth understanding of a clients needs and wishes, you are able to provide the very best standards of care to everyone you support.

Whilst most of our vacancies are open to those new to the role, you will need previous experience if you want to join us as a Palliative or Waking Nights Carer. It's also essential for all our daytime and Roaming Nights Carers to have access to their own motorised transport. Although, we do have several company vehicles that are used on our runs, and we will pay you a mileage allowance for any travel completed in your own vehicle.

If you have any questions about working with us, or joining the care sector for the fist time, our friendly helpful office team are always happy to help.
