Working at Active Assistance

What we do

Active Assistance Group was established in 1992. We support people with complex and continuing healthcare needs. Our philosophy is based on the principle that each individual should be enabled to live a fulfilling life to their potential. We aim to do this by developing confidence with care packages that are responsive, flexible and client focussed.

To enable our clients to live as independently as possible, we provide fully trained live-in or live out care staff to support them in their own home. That's why we refer to our staff as PAs and not carers because their role is to work under the direction of the client.

The quality of our service is determined by our ability to organise and deliver superior PA support at a fair and reasonable price. To achieve this we recruit and develop the very best people and deliver the highest level of continuity for our clients by retaining employees for longer. Our aim is to ensure that every client who wants one has a regular PA assigned to them.

There are also many opportunities for feedback during and after assignments so that we can support PAs and promote a culture of continuing professional development as well as hosting update training throughout the year.

We recruit staff who positively embrace our values. These are re-enforced through our highly acclaimed and award winning training programmes. Active has care jobs and opportunities for live in and live out carers. If you want a rewarding care job in the community please apply today!
