Our client who distributes goods to both UK and European trade customers, is looking for a new team member to join a great existing team. To be successful in the role you must have come from a sales office background, with previous inbound sales experience. As the first point of contact for the business, customer service skills are paramount and the ability to negotiate and convert an inbound sale to a processed order is what you will be expected to do. As the company export goods to Europe there is also a requirement to understand a little about shipping documentation – training can be given but you need to have a basic knowledge of commercial invoicing and commodity codes etc. Responsibilities will include.. Efficiently negotiate and process orders received over the phone and via email. Completion of relevant export administration depending where good are shipped to. Provide product advice to customers, with the ability to upsell or switch sell as needed. Liaise with Warehouse and Purchasing staff to track product deliveries. Address customer complaints and coordinate with couriers for any issues with deliveries. Develop a thorough understanding of our product range to better serve customer needs. Assembly Technician – Aerospace Havant Up to 15.40 per hour On Going Contract Our client based in the Havant area is looking to recruit Assembly Technicians for the aerospace industry. Working at their site in Havant the role would involve, disassembling faulty aerospace components, building them together into complex parts and using various methods to test and inspect. You would be working in the MRO team (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul). The successful candidate will: Assemble, teardown and rebuild hydraulic LRU's (Line replacement units) returning from the field for repair or overhaul. Reports to the Production Team Leader/ Area Manager in MRO. Teardown, re-assemble LRU's Ensure activities are performed correctly and proper tooling and documentation is used. Perform visual inspection, identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures. Must have the ability to utilize hand tools such as, but not limited to, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, Arbor press, vices, soldering iron, depth micrometres, callipers, lockwire pliers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, flow meters, multi-meters, test boxes or specialized test equipment as needed. Proficient interpreting and using drawings. Material preparation including lapping of surfaces with proper tooling techniques and compounds. Perform cross training when required. Proactively identify and help assist in process improvements. Follow procedures and Component Maintenance Manual's (CMM). May act as department representative in customer audits/visits. Adhere to operational procedures and ensure tooling is in calibration before use. Maintain clean and safe work area. Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, 5S. Previous experience in the aerospace industry would be a distinct advantage for this role but not essential, you would you have a strong engineering background with experience of using various hand and power tools and inspection equipment. Assembly Technician - Aerospace

You will deliver global success within environmental and sustainability projects and agenda in line with customer expectations, divisional strategies, projects aligned to a carbon net zero approach. You will have accountability for sustainability assessments, RFQ data collection and improvement, divisional climate transition plans, energy management and assessment and sustainability legal awareness. Key Deliverables Liaise with divisional colleagues to produce sustainability assessments and validated data according to divisional timelines. Inclusive of BRSR, CDP, SAQ, EcoVadis, DERI, CSRD and others. Work with divisional colleagues to identify improvements and projects year-on-year, validated through increased scores achieved. This is both from forward planning responses and detailed analysis of previous assessments, producing action plans which you will own and deliver. Data analysis and automation to drive data efficiencies through multiple platforms. Manage and update RFQ EHS standard response database, aligning customer expectations Manage and drive Energy Officer communications, meetings and events, to deliver divisional requirements and improve competencies. Work with divisional teams to deliver GHG protocol requirements To continuously improve divisional climate transition plans towards a 2040 net zero target, as well as specific customer requirements. Review continuous improvement reports to improve the divisional transition plans via working with respective plants and teams, producing workable examples/plans. Continuously drive CTP efficiencies, reporting upon live status monthly Drive energy management campaigns to deliver best in class results. Coordinate and enhance energy site surveys and assessments, and undertake assessments/audits to support plants attain energy reductions as part of their overall CTP activity. Set minimum improvements for each location. Mentor and support Energy Officers and operational teams to continuously improve energy management divisionally and carbon emissions Support ISO system audits divisionally, and our plants with their findings and solutions, specifically ISO 50001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Develop training materials to support EHS requirements i.e. energy &amp; sustainability competencies and training, as requested. Skills and Knowledge Bachelor degree in environmental management and sustainability, or equivalent experience. ISO 50001 auditor qualification / energy management auditor or ISO 14001 auditor qualification desirable Proven operational experience working on environmental and sustainability in a global multi-site environment, ideally within manufacturing Proven hands-on experience in energy management and sustainability and undertaking audits and assessments/inspections Life cycle analysis of products and components, including ‘cradle to grave’ principles Delivered environmental continuous improvement programmes Advanced data analysis utilising Microsoft and other platforms. Track record of being able to build, develop and foster relationships across all levels of an organisation to drive, achieve and influence results and change. Environmental & Sustainability Advisor

Our client is a ship management company and they are looking for a plant technician to carry out all equipment build, assembly and test in accordance with relevant drawings and specifications provided. To carry out both planned maintenance and defect rectification of all diving plant in the Southampton Branch. Key responsibilities • Embrace our clients safety culture, report all safety observations to avoid escalation of unsafe acts. Do not start work if you have not been briefed on the safe system of work that you are undertaking. • To work within our clients Health and Safety and Quality Management System • To maintain weekly records to enable our clients Time master-based management system to be used in accordance with user’s manual. • To ensure all UK profit centre Plant and Machinery based at Chandlers ford is maintained and defects rectified in accordance with our clients Quality Management System, Maintenance &amp; Calibration Procedure. • Carry out Equipment Builds in accordance with Equipment Build Work Instruction Manufacturing Process. • To carry out trials and record required data of Manufactured Equipment in accordance Quality Management procedure and Equipment Build Procedure. • Provide support for Operations as requested by line manager in workshop or on site. • Maintain and PATTest all Southampton Workshop and Office Portable Electrical Equipment and associated cabling in accordance with current H &amp; S regulations.
