Contract Type: Full time, Permanent Location: University of Huddersfield International Study Centre Salary: 23,424.63 The International Study Centre needs an experienced and accomplished Student Experience Support Officer Student Data &amp; Enhancement. The post holder will undertake a variety of tasks including student records, managing and coordinating student attendance, student administration support and provide support to the academic and SMT where necessary. This is a fast-paced environment and the successful applicant will have proven customer service skills and previous experience of working with international students, possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be working in an open plan office, so it is important they enjoy working as part of a team. ABOUT THE ROLE Creation of both electronic and paper based student files. Ensure student details are kept up to date on central databases - contact details, visa and passport information, sponsorship details etc Work closely with the Student Experience Coordinator - Student Data &amp; Enhancement in monitoring student attendance on a daily basis. Student Education Administrator

ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Head of student experience you will be responsible for administration and data management across many areas of the centre including: To act as a first point of contact for the timetabling team. To liaise with the academic team on course requirements and staff availability for timetable creation and ad hoc cover. To create reports and data sets in the support of compliance, academic and operational matters at the ISC. To distribute reports to students e.g. progress reports, timetables, transcripts, and attendance reports. To distribute reports to staff and management e.g. timetables, academic data, and interventions reports. To upload/input data into student profiles e.g. locations, student details, academic details, and reports. Keep up to date knowledge of academic year with regard to termly module offerings and student core and optional modules Support the Head of Student Experience with any other appropriate duties, deputising when necessary Data gathering, manipulation and analysis (e.g. for Annual Monitoring Report or other centre insights) Administration (calendar, papers, minutes, actions) for the Centre and Partnership Academic governance meetings. Updating the Centre Action plan Preparing, submitting and tracking submissions for to Study Group Quality Assurance and Enhancement officer Ad hoc quality duties including updating Centre Handbooks and /or Programme Documentation, proof reading in liaison with HoSE To assist the Head of Student Experience and management in other matters and within the scope and grading of the post and to act as a deputy when required ABOUT YOU Essential: An undergraduate qualification or relevant professional qualification or evidence of continuous training and development. Experience of gathering, analysing and presenting datasets along with a high level of problem-solving skills in accordance with procedures. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a professional manner and calm approach in a busy office environment and in delivery of services for students and staff. Student Data and Quality Officer

Contract Type: Full time, Fixed Term until 31/08/2026 Location: University of Strathclyde International Study Centre Salary: Up to 39,605.59 per annum Strathclyde ISC is hiring a full-time Computer Science tutor to join their STEM team, with preference for candidates skilled in Maths and Statistics. Responsibilities include delivering teaching programs, supporting students, and innovating teaching practices. The role involves designing and delivering Computer Science modules, with a focus on specific topics, and may also include teaching other programs and supervising projects. As a tutor, you will contribute to the design, development and production of teaching and learning materials, and delivery across a range of Computer Science modules ( SCQF levels 7 and 8). In particular you will be responsible for the IY2 modules covering Advanced Programming, Logic and Algorithms, Functional Thinking, Computer system and Architecture, Quantitative Methods and Data Modelling. You may also be required to deliver modules on different programmes including Computing for the Undergraduate Foundation in Engineering and Science, or project supervision on our Pre-master’s programmes (SCQF 9/10). ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Head of STEM you will be responsible for the design, delivery, and development of modules in Computer Science. Contribute to the design, delivery and development of modules offered by University of Strathclyde International Study Centre. Prepare and deliver teaching lectures, seminars, and tutorial sessions, with up to 25 hours per week.teaching Write and prepare unit examinations and other forms of formative and summative assessment. Mark students’ formative and summative assessment submissions and provide timely feedback to students on their performance, including tutorials and writing regular student reports. Develop and update course material for modules and teaching sessions, including module material for the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). Work with the Centre’s Student Experience team in the delivery of induction, orientation, and registration programmes. Notify and liaise with colleagues, where necessary, to ensure all students receive appropriate on-going welfare and progression support. Track students’ academic journey and identify and implement appropriate intervention strategies to support on-going learning. Follow centre protocol and liaise with colleagues and line manager according to procedure in particular regarding compliance processes such as class timetabling, attendance and engagement monitoring ABOUT YOU We are looking for a dynamic, engaging, and creative tutor who is keen to develop their teaching skills and subject knowledge. You must be prepared to collaborate with others and have a desire to contribute positively to the Centre. You will have experience of or a commitment to working with international students and have: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Security Plus a minimum of a Master’s degree in a related subject area OR considerable relevant industry experience. (current Master’s students with appropriate experience will also be considered) Relevant Teaching Qualification(or be in the process of achieving this) or significant experience working with students. Experience of teaching computer science and engineering modules in the UK Higher or Further education sector, including lab-based teaching, or relevant industry experience that translates well to the classroom. Computer Science Tutor

Contract: Full time, Permanent Location: Huddersfield International Study Centre Salary: 26,477.57 Job Purpose: The International Study Centre needs an experienced and accomplished Student Experience Coordinator - Operation and Student Finance. The post holder will undertake a variety of tasks including coordinating student assessments and progression, managing student data and finance accounts, assisting with student attendance monitoring, and provide support to academic staff and SMT where necessary. This is a fast-paced environment and the successful applicant will have proven customer service skills and previous experience of working with international students, possess excellent IT, communication and organisational skills. The post holder will be working in an open plan office, so it is important they enjoy working as part of a team. About the role: To prepare assessment timetable Management and coordination of student assessments to include liaising with academics, data inputting and ensuring quality control checks are in place to align with the Centres requirement To organise and minute all Module and Course Assessment Boards To deal with fee payment deadlines and enquiries To work with the Student Experience Coordinator- Student Data and Enhancement to ensure we have the relevant data in file and recorded on Study Group databases. Ensure student details are kept up to date on central databases - contact details, visa and passport information, sponsorship details etc. Working closely with the Student Data and Enhancement Coordinator to ensure all administration for attendance monitoring is up to date. Working closely with the Head of Student Experience in running student focus groups. Ensure the progression database is kept up to date and provided to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner Ensure progression changes are checked, recorded and shared with the relevant teams.
