Founded in 1996 by friends John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune is an interiors retailer recognised for its exacting standards, timeless aesthetic and expert craftsmanship. Our collections form part of something we call our ‘whole home concept’, bringing together furniture, lighting, paint, tiles, flooring and accessories for indoors and out, all designed to work together, effortlessly.

As a business that designs, manufactures, distributes, retails, wholesales and even designs and builds our own stores; nothing stands still at Neptune for very long. In fact, we’re growing every year.

We’re artists. Thinkers. Makers. Mathematicians. Inventors. Designers. Technicians. Retailers. And dreamers.  And every one of us cares. About everything really, be it the materials we use or simply about always doing the right thing. Each of us brings a different talent to the table, and together we make beautiful furniture, kitchens, upholstery and all the little things that help to give a home soul.

Life at Neptune is anything but boring. We’re ideas people and we’re ambitious. That means our plans for today and tomorrow are big, but we understand that to do things properly, people need time to slow down and think. And that’s quite a rare working environment.

On the topic of which, our HQ itself is far from ordinary as well. Our Wiltshire home is where each of our designs are born. Every team from product design, marketing, merchandising to finance, HR and IT live here. With our 125,000 sq. ft. warehouse next-door, bespoke workshop downstairs, and mezzanine architecture that bridges our beautiful showroom with the upstairs office, it’s a hive of activity set against a tranquil, elegant backdrop.

And then there's our retail stores. Each store is unique from the ground up, designed with care and attention to protect and enhance their historical bones. They are home to some of the most inspiring and beautiful furniture, kitchens and home accessories. Inside you'll find our inspirational store leadership team, our talented kitchen designers, design assistants and home specialists. We have Neptune stores as far north as York and as far south as Bournemouth, with several more opening each year.
