Airfreight Export Clerk - pharma

My client, a privately owned freight forwarder, is looking to recruit an ambitious Customs specialist for their office near Heathrow. We are looking for a driven individual who wants to broaden their general freight forwarding experience and grow with the company. ROLE: Customs Specialist LOCATION: Surrey/Berkshire/Heathrow Salary: up to 38k Industry: Freight Forwarding/Airfreight/Oceanfreight The position we are seeking to fill is for a Customs Specialist to complement our dedicated team &amp; the role presents a great opportunity to join a small, hands-on team, with the scope of learning multi-modal, including cross-trade operations. Previous experience in working with a smaller sized business in Air, Sea, Road &amp; Courier movements is required, as the successful candidate would need to be able to hit the ground running. Our operating system we work with is BoxTop, which is an access-based system &amp; well known throughout the Freight Forwarding sector. Prior experience of this would be advantageous but not essential as full training would be given. The completion of our import &amp; export entries is presently done via Descartes, however as we’ll be moving to ASM Sequoia in June of this year previous experience of ASM Sequoia is essential. Whilst the role primarily will be focused on import Customs declarations, we would seek to train the successful candidate on CDS export air &amp; ocean declarations. The successful candidate would be expected to handle a job from start to finish, so quoting, arranging transport &amp; raising files, including the placing of costs onto both the file &amp; BoxTop system for our multi-modal shipments by Air, Sea, Road &amp; Courier. We are seeking a well-mannered, with good interpersonal skills individual that can both work well on their own initiative &amp; as well as within a team. The successful candidate must be able to drive as on occasions running documentation/freight over to the airport will be required. Starting salary negotiable, dependant on experience. A company laptop &amp; mobile would also be provided. Our business hours are Monday-Friday 09:00hrs - 17:30hrs, however during peak periods/holiday cover additional hours would be expected to be covered. Note the position would be based on the successful candidate working at our Egham office &amp; is not a hybrid position.

My client, a leading global freight forwarder, is looking to recruit an energetic, target driven individual to join its commercial team. There may be scope for hybrid working once probationary period has been successfully completed. ROLE: Inside Sales/Telesales LOCATION: Midlands SALARY: Negotiable dependent upon experience plus uncapped commission HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm About the position: Working within the European Roadfreight sector, the Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing gained business with the aim of growing top line revenue and Gross Profit. Working closely with the Product management , Operations, Sales teams and the wider European network. Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include: Plan and priorities personal activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims ,including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory according to an agreed market development strategy.
