Key responsibilities As a Security Specialist, Assistance you will take up a fast-paced role providing and supporting the delivery of professional and effective security assistance services for clients of International SOS by addressing the global security threats and risk challenges, with a focus on Europe, West and Central Africa and Maghreb &amp; Sahel. • Deliver high-quality security risk assessments, advice, and the coordination of security assistance on a profile and itinerary-specific basis to travellers, international assignees, domestic nationals, and client risk managers. • Receive and assess all security related calls and ascertain the assistance requirements of Intl.SOS clients. • Give security advice to callers, employers, employees and organise appropriate security assistance accordingly. • Contribute to operational readiness by carrying out tasking to maintain and develop the security provider network and internal Concepts of Operations. • Coordinate and oversee responses to security Requests for Assistance (RFAs), including the production of Plans of Action (POA) for specific client requirements. About you You will need the following for success as a Security Specialist, Assistance: • Proven experience in security intelligence or related field: military, government, NGO, journalism; academic studies. • Independent travel experience to countries including challenging risk environments. • Strong knowledge of the global political and security landscape, with a preferred focus on Europe, North &amp; West Africa, Maghreb &amp; Sahel. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain complex situations to non-expert audiences in English. • Ability to critically analyse multiple streams of information under time pressure. • Demonstrated experience in the application of risk assessments. • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other applications. • A degree or similar qualification in a field related to security, risk management, international politics or international relations. A Master’s degree in a similar field is an advantage • Proficiency in French, Spanish, Italian, German or another regional language preferred. Security Specialist, Assistance

The Security Specialist, Information &amp; Analysis, is an integral member of the global security I&amp;A team. Under the direction and guidance of the Lead Security Analyst Global Threat Monitoring, you will undertake the collection and processing of information &amp; analysis to provide timely, tactical security assessments and advice, primarily through written reports, to International SOS’ clients and internal stakeholders. Security Specialist, Information & Analysis

Are you looking for an opportunity to broaden your medical and clinical knowledge in a truly global team? Due to the success and growth of our team, International SOS is currently recruiting a Coordinating Nurse to be based at offices in Chiswick Park, London. This is an office-based position, with no nightshifts. This is your chance to join a global team who strive for the best possible care for each and every patient. Focusing on quality and excellent patient care, liaising with colleagues based in 27 different countries and utilising the company’s extensive global resources to provide outstanding medical assistance to patients and clients across the world. Daily tasks of a Coordinating Nurse: • Receiving calls from patients located anywhere in the world. Performing telephonic triage/holistic medical assessment (a great mix of primary care /complex medical emergency), providing risk-assessed evidence-based medical advice and medical direction to patients; • Providing pre-trip travel advice including assessment of pre-trip travel medical risks and advising on travel health and vaccination requirements; • Assessing medical standards of care in the patient’s location against international standards and providing guidance on fitness to fly • Coordinating medical care for patients anywhere in the world, interpreting medical situations with a tailored risk analysis of condition vs geographical location; • Directing patients to the best medical facilities in a specific location • Liaising with international medical professionals to obtain medical information about patients, coordinate medical treatment and making recommendations on change/upgrade in care; • Arranging medical evacuations and repatriations, either via commercial carrier (with medical escorts) or air ambulance • The opportunity to act as medical escort for medical evacuation/repatriation • Being involved in internal quality-improvement projects. Coordinating Nurse

Are you passionate about nursing and looking for a change? Looking to apply your experience in a new environment? Is it time to move away from the demands of clinical care? Do you speak Polish and English? We are looking for a Nurse (known internally as a Near Patient Nurse) based in Zielona Gora or within proximity, to support our global patient care program, TRICARE. You will be responsible for providing medical case management for patients, visiting them at healthcare provider sites, writing medical reports and providing medical updates. This role is to cover Zielona Gora and the surrounding areas up to Zagan. This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses to move away from the demands of a clinical environment to an on-site case manager role using their medical expertise. Key Responsibilities: The nurse would provide comprehensive in-patient clinical case management in line with clinical and Intl. SOS standards Develop and maintain effective relationships with providers, (medical and administrative) internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure excellent delivery of service Regularly visit or contact the care providers (civilian and military treatment facility centers) to obtain updates for medical cases Liaise with patients to obtain detailed clinical information including past medical history to allow for accurate on-going case management Support the medical collection team in obtaining the discharge summary and medical records from the care provider About You: Registered General Nurse or equivalent with minimum 3 years of experience with registration to practice in country of work Recognized qualification to minimum diploma level or equivalence in practice demonstrated through portfolio/CV A demonstrable commitment to professional development Able to communicate Polish and proficiently in English
