Due to continued growth, these are new roles and can report into Haywards Heath or Salford Quays. They support Hybrid working and you need to be in the office at least once, preferably twice, a week. As a Motor Engineer you will be responsible for the Motor Claims spend and delivering exceptional quality of service to our customers. In this role you’ll ensure that modern day motor vehicles which are subject to a motor claim are repaired to their pre accident condition. You will use the most appropriate methods at the correct cost, accurately valuing and categorising vehicles if they are deemed beyond economical repair or are stolen and unrecovered. You will carry out extensive market research and engage with the customer/third parties to set their expectations. You will Audit and evaluate performance of repairer, making recommendations regarding repair quality, repair costs and customer service. We are seeking applicants with experience of motor vehicle estimating for insurance claim purposes. You will have good negotiation and relationship building skills and a good working knowledge of vehicle types, makes and models. You will provide technical guidance to the motor claims tea. Insurance Executive Barker Munro recruitment, the specialist insurance recruitment agency in Kent, is working on behalf on a well-established, traditional insurance Broker who are embarking on the next phase of their expansion and have a need for an Insurance Executive. The main purpose of this role is to take responsibility for a number of renewals each month (mainly telephone based). You will also be responsible for identifying and initiating cross-sales opportunities to existing clients introducing various products to your client base. You will obtain updated information from client, negotiate with Insurers and sell benefits of renewal and the products to the clients. Dealing with a wide range of commercial insurance risks with a premium levels of between 500 and 30,000. This is a pro-active role and will involve new business in addition to the renewals. As an insurance Executive, you will also need to deal with the Commercial Administration, dealing directly with clients. This will include managing midterm alterations / policy changes, setting up computer records, issuing documents to clients, checking incoming proposal forms, diary management, renewal rebroking and creating client schedules. You may also need to visit clients face to face when required. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and solid commercial insurance experience, gained within an Insurance Broking environment in the UK. Alternatively, there is consideration to CV's that have been working mainly within Home or Motor insurance and looking to move into the commercial insurance space. It will suit someone who is career minded, highly motivated and who enjoys relationship building/liaising with clients. Business Development Executive - Insurance

Insurance Account Handler Barker Munro recruitment are currently working with one of the largest Insurance Brokers in the world who are currently looking to add to their Commercial Broker team based out of their Kent office, with the addition of an insurance account handler to join the team. This is an opportunity which would suit someone who has some account handling or insurance administration experience, preferably in commercial fleet or personal lines and looking to move over to the commercial insurance market. Alternatively, the client will consider someone who has an excellent work ethic and has been working in a regulated financial office environment and is looking for a career in insurance. There is also a consideration for a graduate who is looking to forge a career in insurance broking. This role will be predominantly supporting senior account handlers in issuing client documentation, chasing outstanding information/paperwork, responding to client queries, preparing pre-renewal, mid-term adjustments and some smaller client registrations. You will be focused on providing quality service to the clients and senior account handlers and will need to be organised with good attention to detail.
