Job DescriptionSkills/Experience required: - Candidate who has relevant paediatric experience (4-5 years)- Acute/Neuro rehab/inpatient hospital experience- Preferably not a therapist who only has school placement experience as their caseload is more complex and they do not have the capacity to supervise and train a new locum Day to day requirements for outpatient therapist:- Seeing regular outpatients for assessment and treatment, 0 - 15 years of age, however majority of the caseload is under 10 years old- Writing assessment reports and discharge reports in a timely fashion - Formulating home exercise programs- Liaison with MDT including medical - Caseload varies with diagnoses - neuro, autism, developmental delay, intellectual delay, school age therapy; clinical support will be provided for treatment planning and clinical reasoning- May be asked to support the team with inpatients when no outpatients are booked, this is predominantly neuro rehab and long term stay neuro.
