Sales Director
We are looking for a supportive and motivated Territory Sales Director, to head our dynamic and high performing UK Major Accounts Team. You will be a visible driving force and accountable for helping achieve the company’s revenue and profitability targets, taking a pro-active approach to protect and enhance our customer and partner relationships. As the Territory Sales Director you will: Lead a field sales team by driving sales growth and business objectives through team performanceSupport the Field based Major Account Directors to achieve business goals and revenue/GM targets.Hire, train, develop and motivate Major Account Directors, ensuring strong and proactive customer relationships, ensuring team and individual targets are achieved.Gather, monitor, and analyse weekly sales forecasts.Actively participate in customer and supplier-based activities to accomplish the overall sales strategyDevelop and implement territory specific sub-strategies with a view to reducing customer whitespace and increasing overall profitabilityDrive our "services first strategy" incorporating our local and global technical expertiseProduce meaningful management reports specific to territory performance.Provide strong escalation support to team membersTravel to attend customer and internal meetings on a regular basisOccasional international travel to attend company and partner events The ideal Territory Sales Director will: Have a significant and proven track record of sales and sales management of a high performing team.Have a progressive, 'hands-on’ style, with the credibility, gravitas, and resilience to succeed in a dynamic, highly customer/partner focused commercial environment.Ability to establish and manage executive level customer relationshipsHave a great personality, be self-motivated, dynamic, pro-active and tenacious.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capacity.Have a supportive and open management style, with the ability to motivate, support, train and develop employees with varying personalities and needs.Be forward thinking and can adapt and evolve with rapid business growth.Experience in using CRM systems effectively for team/business/operational management and reporting.Valid UK/EU passport and driving licence.
