Key Accountabilities:As Programme Manager, you'll take accountability for the successful delivery of major programmes within our Change Portfolio, ensuring they remain aligned to strategic priorities and deliver real business value. You'll:Lead and plan complex, interdependent programmes and projects across multiple workstreamsTranslate organisational strategy into clear, structured and deliverable programmes of workEstablish and embed robust, pragmatic and holistic programme governance, ensuring clear decision making, accountability, transparency and assuranceTake ownership of remediating and re energising programmes and projects that are off track or struggling, diagnosing issues and bringing them back to life through decisive leadership and structured recovery plansManage programme level risks, issues, dependencies and benefits realisation with a proactive, risk led mindsetDirect, coach and support Project Managers, coordinating interdependencies and resolving escalated risks or delivery blockersProvide clear programme level reporting and delivery assurance to senior stakeholders and governance forumsManage programme budgets and external suppliers, ensuring cost control, transparency and value for moneyWork closely with senior leaders, business owners and sponsors to ensure programmes remain focused on strategic outcomesChampion modern ways of working, including value stream thinking and agile or hybrid delivery approaches where appropriateOptimise resources across the portfolio, ensuring teams have the right people, tools and funding to succeedMaintain clear, transparent communication, managing stakeholder expectations and addressing concerns earlyCollaborate closely with colleagues across the wider Business Change function to ensure a joined up, end to end change approachExperience, knowledge, skillsYou'll bring strong programme leadership experience and the confidence to operate credibly at senior levels across the organisation. You'll be comfortable balancing strategic oversight with hands on delivery, especially where recovery or intervention is needed.We're looking for someone who has:5+ years' proven experience in a Programme Manager role within a regulated fast paced, change driven environmentExperience working in a regulated environment essential, mortgage or financial services experience is highly desirableStrong programme planning, monitoring and control capability, with experience stabilising or remediating delivery when requiredA well rounded, pragmatic and proportionate approach to governance, able to apply structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracyExperience working with recognised programme and change methodologies MSP, PMQ,APMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile or hybrid delivery modelsThe ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and third party suppliersGravitas, credibility and the ability to influence and challenge constructivelyA proactive, resilient and highly organised approach, remaining calm under pressureExcellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levelsStrong analytical and problem solving skills, with a practical, solution focused mindsetA collaborative, people focused leadership style, with the ability to motivate and develop othersA genuine passion for programme and project management, continuously evolving your practice and keeping up to date with best in class approachesWhy Join UsAt Kensington Mortgages, we believe our employees are the heart of our success.
