A market leader in their sector, they are looking to add a new Senior Sales rep to their existing growing team to cover their flagship region. Job Summary: To plan and carry out direct sales activities in the primary area of the NHS; procurement, clinical departments and ward environmentTo develop and increases sales of products manufactured & supplied by the company.To represent the company to establish and build long-term customer relationships in our clients flagship region.To provide all necessary reports and documentation as requested by the company to ensure visibility of the regional potential. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Grow existing and new customers through pro-active planned individual account support.Developing the regional territory plan with National Sales Manager to achieve the regional potential and sales targets.Generating and developing new opportunities, follow up quotations, samples close new business ensuring the CRM accurately reflects status.Ensure widespread networking with key stake holders / decision makers to promote our band and products through pro-active, planned sales visits / appointments.To be accountable for the regions revenue and capital pipelines, accurately logging all information to ensure all potential is centrally logged. This will ensure the business can support and deliver maximum potential from the opportunities in the region.Support regional forecasting with the proactive use of the CRM opportunities and continual professional engagement with key stake holders and decision markets.Handling customer complaints efficiently and professionally, when required repair customer products- minor faults.Give full and precise feedback from the customers on all aspects of our clients business activities and/or products, including complaints, satisfaction, and product improvements.Report on all competitor’s activities, pricing and /or strategies when identified.Record all customer details and sales activities via the company business systems (Excel, Outlook, CRM system) in line with the businesses expectation requirementsConduct product demonstration and customer product training as and when required.Attendance at Office, Exhibitions & Sales Meetings when requested.Promote the brand name and any other products supplied by our client.Liaise with all internal departments when necessary or requested.Adhere to all procedures associated with the position.Undertakes other duties and provides support as and when required.Ensure all Health & Safety, policies and procedures are adhered too and enforced at all times. Desired Skills To have Field Sales experience - Having managed a territory. Proactive medical sales and support of high-quality medical dosimetry, quality assurance (QA) and quality control instruments, primarily for radiotherapy technology (and medical imaging systems) via new and existing hospital-based customers.Build trusting relationships with new and existing customers, provide product / instrument advice and demonstrations, attend exhibitions, and deliver first-class customer education, training and support. This is not a hard sell; it’s about building relationships based on knowledgeable support, guidance and trust.Medical Physics customers include Medical Physicist, Clinical Scientist, Dosimetrist, Clinical Technologist, Radiotherapy Physicist, Radiotherapist and Radiographer professionals in NHS and private medical imaging and radiotherapy departments, as well as purchasing teams.Covering accounts across the South UK (a large but manageable region) including London, Kingston, Luton, Reading, Slough, Swindon, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bristol, Brighton, Colchester, etc. COMPANY A well-established, global market leader providing high-quality medical dosimetry, radiotherapy and medical imaging QA & QC solutions. REQUIREMENTS Educated to degree level with postgraduate experience as a Medical Physicist, Dosimetrist, Clinical Scientist, Radiotherapy Physicist, or other Medical Physics professional, with clinical or technical experience with some of the equipment outlined above.In addition, proven success in medical sales or as a clinical application specialist, or you could be a healthcare professional looking to break into medical sales. Skilled in influencing others and building relationships based on trust and service. Tenacious, self-motivated, confident, influential, determined, goal-oriented and organised.Previous experience as a Territory Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Product Specialist, or Clinical Specialist is useful but not a requirement. PACKAGE Salary guide: £45-55,000 plus £10,000 OTE, car and benefits.
