We are working with a well-established global B2B organisation to recruit a Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join their growing team based just outside Burton-on-Trent.This is an excellent opportunity for a junior marketer to gain broad, hands-on experience across digital and offline marketing within a supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Marketing Manager in delivering the annual marketing planCreate and manage content across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTokProduce high-quality, original copywriting for social media and marketing campaignsAssist in the development of B2B and consumer-focused marketing campaignsBrief designers on marketing materials including brochures, packaging, leaflets and flyersWork closely with the sales team to provide marketing support and materialsAssist with event planning and trade day coordinationManage merchandise stock and support general marketing administrationSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a marketing role (placement, internship or apprenticeship considered)Experience managing or contributing to social media platforms (B2B and/or B2C)Strong copywriting and content creation skillsUnderstanding of digital marketing and social media trendsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamProactive, organised and willing to learnEducation:Degree in Marketing or related field, or a relevant apprenticeshipAdditional Requirements:Must be able to commute to Burton-on-Trent (limited public transport access)Driving licence desirableBenefitsCompetitive salary of £27,000 – £28,000Opportunity to gain experience across a full marketing mixCareer development and training opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative working environmentThis role is ideal for someone looking to develop their marketing career in a varied and fast-paced environment.
