Integration Specialist
This role has a starting salary of £50,047 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week. It is key to modernisation and new models of service delivery and underpins the delivery of continual improvements in quality and efficiency. The Team The Development and Integration Services Team is responsible for delivering integrations across all services of the Authority and the Orbis partnership. The Development Integration Services Team has a vacancy for two Integration Specialists. These are Surrey County Council roles providing services across the Orbis partnership, specifically East Sussex County Council. This is an exciting opportunity to develop integrations to help the Council and its partners meet their strategic objectives. The team's office base is in Reigate, with hybrid working encouraged. Occasional travel to other locations within the partnership, such as Lewes where East Sussex County Council is based, may be necessary. The Role The role is to provide Integration consultancy and development for East Sussex, working closely with the team in Lewes. Day to day work will involve reporting to the ESCC Application Development Manager, although you will be part of the SCC Integration Services Team. As an Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the definition, development, implementation and maintenance of integrations of varying complexity, principally using the Boomi integration platform. We are looking to hire a talented integration developer with a strong background in Boomi. You will have experience of designing, developing, testing, documenting, deploying and supporting integrations with varying levels of complexity. You will be able to lead integration projects from inception to completion, and you will have a clear understanding of SOAP, REST, XML, JSON and CSV. As well as the above points, the successful candidate will have solid, demonstrable experience in the following: Integrating with third party applications both on premise and in the cloud,Experience with ERP system integrations, specifically with Oracle Fusion, and financial integration processes such as journals, accounts payable and receivable, and online payments systems.Experience of monitoring and supporting complex integrations.Defining architecture considerations for non-functional requirements including scalability, availability, security and performance,Strong communication skills and committed team player, with interest in mentoring others.
