Main Duties Being the first point of contact to employers for all apprentice applicationsConfirming all eligibility requirements are met so applications can progressEnsuring all key contact, funding and invoicing details are logged on the candidate management systemServicing inbound enquiries generated from various channels and managing them through to completionCoordinating the initial application enrolment process with apprentices and their employers.Providing advice and support to employers regarding the Apprenticeship Levy, Incentives, and future funding reformsGuiding employers through the funding process - offering over the phone support and adviceMaintaining The Apprenticeship Service account - ensuring all cohorts are up to date and accurateSupporting compliance colleagues with Government data deadlinesWorking with employers to ensure funds raised are secured within desired timeframesSupporting apprentices and their employers through change of employment processesWorking closely with other departments and support staff to assist with coordination of applicationsEnsuring the business hits our ambitious conversion targetsAny other duties Personal Specification You will: Be reliable and hardworkingBe professional with proven administrative, education, training and/ or customer service-related experiencePossess an excellent customer service manner, both written and spokenHave the ability to organise, plan and prioritise time and tasks effectively whilst meeting the needs of multiple stakeholdersWork well under pressure with the ability to deal with issues as they ariseBe able to problem solveBe highly IT competent using MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint, experienced with databases and able to learn and manage new software programmesBe confident working with people at all levelsBe open to change - actively looking for ways to improve systems and outputs for the teamDemonstrate accuracy and attention to detailKnowledge of apprenticeship programmes would be an advantage We will need perform a BPSS check on the successful candidates. BPSS is the standard background check required for government employees and contractors in the UK. It includes a variety of elements such as criminal records and identity checks and is a minimum requirement for working in and with the public sector.
