FP&A Financial Modeller (Remote/Hybrid)
Human Capital Partners are working with a high growth, Fintech business to identify and appoint their FPA Financial Modeller. This is a remote/hybrid role (although you will need to be able to travel to the office for your initial onboarding period) reporting to the FP&A Director. The successful candidate will support strategic decision-making across the business through the development, operation, and continuous improvement of robust financial models. You will be joining a FP&A team of 4 that sits within a finance team of more than 20 to contribute to a fast-paced financial services company, where data-led insight is critical to their continued success. Key Responsibilities: Provide support in the design, build, run, and maintaining integrated financial models for forecasting, planning, and strategic initiatives across the business.Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across finance, risk, and commercial teams to translate business strategies into financial outputs.Identify and recommend enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A processes and models to support evolving business needs.Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end FP&A processes with accurate forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modelling.Play a supporting role in the management and development of the Jedox enterprise performance management system. While prior Jedox experience is not required, strong aptitude and experience with financial systems, modelling tools, or BI platforms (e.g., Excel VBA, Power BI, Anaplan, TM1, Adaptive Insights) will be essential.Ensure documentation and controls are in place for model governance, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.Provide training and support to wider teams on model usage and financial assumptions. Skills & Experience Required: Strong experience in financial modelling.Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic modelling, scenario planning, and VBA (preferred).Familiarity with planning or EPM tools; Jedox (or TM1/Anaplan) knowledge is advantageous but not essential.Inquisitive and a good communicator. A self-starter who wants to understand why and will talk to business areas to understand processes or seek data to analyseStrong commercial awareness with a track record of supporting cross-functional decision-making.Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of outputs and deadlines.Strong communication skills, able to translate complex models into actionable business insight.Good working knowledge of accounting and finance principles. Qualifications: Professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant finance/modelling background preferred.Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
