Financial/Management Accountant
iMultiply are supporting a well-established and growing organisation based in East Lothian to recruit a full-time Financial/Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join a collaborative and mission-driven finance team.The RoleThis role sits within a close-knit and supportive finance function and will play a pivotal role in producing accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will be involved in day-to-day financial operations and help drive improvements in processes and reporting.As the Financial/Management Accountant, you will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:Assist in producing the ‘recurring deliverables’ in line with the monthly/annual timetable including monthly management accounts and commentary, forecasts, cash-flows, annual budgets and statutory accountsFinancial reporting, reporting organisational performance against budget, attending meetings to discuss performance, supporting teams with financial information requirementsTake the lead in group reporting requirements ensuring deadlines are met and building positive relationships with colleaguesWork with the team to produce the annual audit informationTransaction and cost analysisProvide cover for payroll timesheet submissionDealing with daily transactional finance dutiesAssist with annual audit pack preparationOther ad-hoc activities including line managementTo be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following:Part-qualified or QBEExperience in management accounts, financial reporting, and interpretation of financial dataExperience of working with auditorsExcellent IT skills including advanced Excel skillsAbility to work to strict deadlinesProblem-solving skillsAbility to use own initiativeAccuracy and can-do attitudeStrong communication skills at all levelsTime management and the ability to manage own workloadWillingness to embrace integrated model and new ways of workingOn OfferThis is a full-time permanent role, based in East Lothian.
