Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Stoke-on-Trent (preferred) Salary: Competitive salary of £45,000 per annum Job type: Full Time - Permanent. Rotating Machinery Services hold 35 years of experience working with industrial equipment. Supplying engineers on-site to carry out servicing and repairs to equipment. The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of electrical systems and projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities: Attending various sites to complete the following; Electrical installation to include single/three phase supplies, installing tray work and conduit.Maintain electrical systems and equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficientlyConduct regular inspections, tests, and preventative maintenance of electrical systemsCollaborate with other engineering teams to support ongoing projectsEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsProduce detailed reports and documentation for all electrical work completedConducting general electrical systems maintenance and troubleshooting electrical issues with testing equipmentInstall, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current edition of IET Wiring RegulationsBasic plc fault finding advantageousPanel building advantageousAssist building and wiring machines in workshopInstall new machines on site including power supply and control wiring Key Skills and Qualifications: A relevant qualification in Electrical EngineeringProven experience in electrical engineering, ideally within an industrial or commercial settingStrong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit designExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and organisational skillsKnowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., IET wiring regulations, health and safety)Clean driving licenceElectrical installation experience to include lighting systems.Provide own basic toolsInspection and testing preferable What We Offer: Competitive salary of £45,000 per annumA Monday to Friday working schedule (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM), with early finishes on Fridays (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM)22 days of annual leave plus bank holidaysA supportive and collaborative work environmentA company vanCompany phone and tabletPension SchemeOpportunities for career growth and development If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge and a great work-life balance, we would love to hear from you.
