BizClik Media is looking for an Editor to join the team for the re-launch of our Business Chief brand as part of our growing portfolio of B2B publications. This is a role that covers daily web articles, monthly digital magazines and multimedia content. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief of Business Chief, this role will also work across our portfolio of titles in the sector, including HR Chief, Finance Chief, Sports Chief, Legal Chief and Marketing Chief. How does the day-to-day look? Web Editor / CMS Editor Fixed Term Contract- 6 months £35-40k annual salary Start date- ASAP THE COMPANY A global agency, who has an amazing portfolio of clients and offices across the globe are looking for a CMS Editor on a contract who has experience in headless CMS in particular. The role will join an existing team of perm staff and will be the third hire into the team in recent months, as this project and client really begins to build momentum,. The role is offered as a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract and it definitely has long term perm potential as you would expect with a large, global agency brand. The role is working hybrid- 2 days from home and 3 days from their Central London base office. THE ROLE The Web Editor will work as part of the wider web and content marketing team . The role of CMS Editor / web executive will be to work on the website administration and content tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating content across a suite of websites for a very large, global, end client As the Web Editor the task will entail building/editing pages with pre-set components, so no development knowledge is required. Position: Editor - permanent Reporting to the company directors, key responsibilities will include: Tasks for the Editor* Overseeing the layout, appearance and content of articles and news across print and digital media channels for a leading aviation B2B title. * Planning the editorial schedule, writing, editing and commissioning copy for freelance writers. * Building and maintaining contacts via a CRM system. * Researching magazine cover images and gathering information for articles via contacts, press releases and other media. * Reporting from press conferences and industry related events, some of which are located internationally. * Working closely with the design and production teams to ensure that the production process runs smoothly. * Recording interviews and meetings using shorthand or technical equipment. * Producing concise and accurate copy according to the company's house style and to strict deadlines. * Creating news and video content for the company's digital channels. * Generating ideas for features with the editorial and advertising teams. * Proofreading all editorial pages before going to press. * Raising the profile by being the 'face' of the media title at industry events. * Working closely with the advertising sales team to help grow the title's portfolio via new and existing revenue streams. * Moderating sessions on behalf of the title at company or third-party conferences.
