The Role of our Practice Development Assistant You will be responsible for, support on developing & implementing the Active Support strategy across our Mental Health services. Key responsibilities of our Practice Development Assistant: * To lead on the implementation of Active Support across the Mental Health Services. * To ensure Active Support is embedded across mental health services and service delivery reflects the objectives of Active Support. * To provide induction training programme for all staff. * Mentor and coach Mental Health Managers/Service Leaders in all things Active Support. * To work collaboratively with the mental health teams to ensure Active Support is successfully rolled out and embedded. * To delivery recovery star training across the Mental Health services. * To assist in shaping audit tools and governance tools in measuring quality of support and the quality of life of people we support. * To assist in identifying opportunities for quality initiatives, leading on the delivery of those in mental health services. * Monitor the use of Restrictive Practises within Mental Health services and support teams to ensure the reduction of restrictive practises are at the fore front of their service delivery. * Provide advice and guidance to teams on practice matters affecting good quality service delivery. Where necessary to carry out practise observations, audits and reviews of mental health services and implement changes that may be required from findings.To be involved in tender responses in relation to care, support, evidence-based practise, quality and outcomes.
