This next generation food business is leading the way in the development of food processing technology and supplying to the leading retailers across the UK and Europe.The RoleYou will play a key role in delivering highly automated solutions, from both a software and hardware perspective. You will write and develop all PLC program logic, and also assist in the creation of best-in-class software roadmap.You will create and lead simulation modelling to validate code work before rollout, using all digitalisation tools available, and work closely with the Controls Engineering Manager to assist with the development of a software roadmap, as well as costing for control panels, site wiring and PLC development and commissioning.You will monitor project timings across software and hardware, also ensure designs work, are cost effective and simply manufactured.
