The RoleAs an Associate Cloud Engineer you will support theUK Shared Services function in the delivery of IT cloud services to QinetiQ. Delivering planned or requested activities, which will depend on the requirements of the individual task in order to effectively deliver high quality services to our customers. Including but not limited to: Support the operational delivery of the cloud platform. This will primarily focus on routine operations, but may also involve supporting problem diagnosis and resolution.Working under supervision, be responsible for the delivery of specific feature aspects of services on the cloud platforms. Support the design of new features by considering aspects such as utility, security, cost and/or time to implement.Assist in the service transition of new technologies and services into operational support.Ensure that support documentation is maintained and configuration records for all managed, cloud services are updated.Assist in identifying and developing methods and procedures to improve security and data privacy within the current portfolio of solutions as well as the analysis and remedial work during security incidents. This role is based at our Farnborough site and offers flexible working options. Regular site attendance is required: this could be at the home site or one of QinetiQ's managed sites throughout the UK.
