A leading Lloyd's Managing Agency have a new opening for a Casualty Claims Adjuster. The Casualty caseload includes Employers Liability, Public Liability, Product Liability, and Medical Malpractice across a broad range of industries, offering exposure to diverse claims, sectors, and jurisdictions. The role currently focuses on US claims, but also includes other International territories.Other duties will include analysing coverage, liability and quantum including complex issues and multi-jurisdictional exposures. ??You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with brokers, clients and internal stakeholders, including underwriters and actuaries, to deliver consistent, effective claims management.Applicants will require previous Casualty/Liability claims handling experience. U.S. Casualty claims handling experience is desirable. This will be a hybrid role, with lots of flexibility to work from home. Full support will be given with professional qualifications.

Responsibilities will include handling International Property claims, both on an open market and binding authority basis. There will also be a smaller amount of Energy, Accident & Health, Political Violence and Terrorism claims, which they are happy to train up on if necessary. Other duties will include being a technical point of referral for junior members of the claims team. Applicants should have prior International Property claims handling experience. Any experience of liaising with/auditing TPAs would be advantageous. Responsibilities will include handling high value/contentious Casualty (EL/PL) claims from first advice through to final settlement. Territories covered will include the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia. Other responsibilities include the oversight of Third Party Administrators and Coverholder partners across all territories to include portfolio analysis, audit engagement, stewardship calls and over DA claims control.The successful applicant will have prior International Casualty claims adjusting experience within the Lloyd's of London and company markets, including U.S. Casualty claims work.
