Your new role: Investigate, manage, and resolve complex Medical Malpractice complex, high value claims efficiently and in a timely manner.Ensure adherence to SLAs and authority limits while managing claims.Support the implementation of the Claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets.Identify and investigate coverage issues to ensure that the company’s liability is in line with its contractual commitments.Reserve accurately to ensure that the Company’s liability is always clearEnsure that messages, advice, and correspondence, are responded to pro-actively and within agreed timeframes to provide a professional service to brokers and clientsProactively manage estimates and billings calculated by client’s service providers and brokers resolving any discrepancies.Regular interactions with key stakeholders including our customers, brokers, solicitors, external loss adjusters and internal partnersManage disputed Claims and other material Claims issues to resolve and settle claims on an economic basis. Supporting projects which may be Operational Excellence, Analytics or Automation related About You You'll have an experience in International or UK Property claims. Although prior experience with the ECF system is not essential, it's a nice to have. Are you an experienced Claims Adjuster looking to take on a fresh challenge in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We are working on behalf of a market-leading Syndicate to find an enthusiastic and proactive professional to join their established Claims team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of claims processes, vendor relationships, and product wording from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of claims of varying complexity within delegated authority levels, in line with internal claims procedures and service standards.Maintain accurate claims records and updates through relevant systems (e.g., ECF, DOCOsoft).Support the Cyber Underwriting team in developing claims protocols and establishing a vendor panel.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of product wording and claims handling processes.Provide clear and timely communication to underwriters and stakeholders on claims trends and outcomes.Develop and maintain positive relationships with brokers, third-party experts, and clients.Collaborate with team members and contribute to a high-performing claims culture.Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the team. What We're Looking For Proven experience in a technical claims role, ideally within the London Market.Familiarity with market systems such as ECF and a good understanding of market processes.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.A team player who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Ability to manage time and priorities effectively, working both independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.ACII qualification or working towards it (preferred but not essential).
