They are now recruiting for an experienced Senior Marketing & Communications Lead to oversee a team of five and steer the strategic direction of all marketing activity. This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role offering the scope to make a tangible impact. About the Role Marketing & Communications Lead This is an exciting opportunity to shape and elevate the marketing and communications function of a high-profile organisation. Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing strategies that support organisational objectives, increase brand visibility, and drive audience engagement. Key Responsibilities Marketing & Communications Lead Strategic Leadership Develop and deliver a clear, effective marketing and communications strategy Ensure consistent brand representation across all platforms and materials Use insights from data and research to inform creative campaign decisions Act as a brand champion across the organisation and with external partners Marketing & Communications Delivery Marketing & Communications Lead Lead internal and external communications with a strategic and professional approach Manage digital channels, including the organisation’s website, SEO, email marketing, and social media Produce and oversee content across a range of formats including newsletters, brochures, and digital campaigns Build strong working relationships with media contacts and external agencies Track and optimise marketing effectiveness through analysis and reporting Events Plan and deliver promotional and corporate events to a high standard Collaborate with internal teams to deliver events that align with brand identity and objectives Team Leadership Marketing & Communications Lead Line manage a team of five, some of whom are newly appointed Set clear objectives and provide mentoring, coaching, and performance support Foster a collaborative and supportive working culture Budgeting and Reporting Manage marketing budgets effectively and align spending with strategic goals Produce clear reports on outcomes, impact, and future recommendations for senior stakeholders About You Essential: Previous experience in a senior marketing or communications position Excellent copywriting and editorial skills, across both digital and traditional platforms Strategic thinker with proven experience developing and implementing marketing plans Demonstrable experience in team leadership and staff development Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and performance analytics Desirable: Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills High level of emotional intelligence and a calm, solution-focused attitude Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously A collaborative working style with the confidence to take initiative Additional Information Full-time, 35 hours per week Occasional flexibility required to support events or campaigns outside core hours Apply Now If you are a confident, strategic marketing leader ready to take on an influential new challenge, we would be delighted to hear from you.
