A Glimpse into Your Daily Responsibilities: Liaison with Insurers, Policyholders and BrokersInvestigation of allocated claims in the field or from the deskCompilation of all necessary evidence and relevant documentationPreparation of Preliminary Reports detailing the evidence available and commenting uponPolicy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and TacticsDetermine appropriate action for resolution of the caseDefend or negotiate settlement where appropriate, within agreed authority limitsCorrespond with all parties professionally to proactively progress the case to conclusionInvestigate and handle all cases in accordance with the client’s requirements by referral todocumented procedures at all timesMaintain a proper reserve at all times by regular reviewKeep updated on any technical changes relevant to your role including participating intraining programmes facilitated by the companyAll Staff are expected to carry out any reasonable instruction given by their line manager, in line with business requirements Abilities And Knowledge: The role would suit either a Casualty Adjuster/investigator seeking a fresh challenge and who is ambitious and can demonstrate an ability to develop the skills and knowledge needed. Our client being a global firm of Loss Adjuster are looking for an ambitious, experienced Senior Adjuster to join the team. The position can be home or office based but you will be equipped to work remotely and full admin support will be provided. A company car or car allowance is included as travel is required. The team handles cases for a large number of market leading and specialist insurers and focus mainly on domestic high net worth and technical claims. You will quickly become a key member of the team undertaking a broad range of adjusting instructions and eventually deal with major and complex losses.
