The Role

  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people and be committed to helping them reach their full potential.
  • Supporting students within the learning and / or residential environments in order to promote each student's intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development and to promote a caring environment by providing a high standard of care including toileting, washing, bathing and mealtime assistance.
  • To be aware of and implement students' care plans and to assist the students' in the development of their independence outcomes within the individualised programme.
  • The role will include a substantial amount of moving and handling and moving and handling procedures have to be adhered to at all times in accordance with training provided.
  • Our schools offer extensive fully funded training opportunities, such as:
  • Teaching or TA qualifications
  • Industry training in Crisis Intervention, Epilepsy, Safeguarding, First Aid & Administering Medication
  • Registered Behaviour Technician qualification

Availability:

  • Monday - Friday (Full and Part Time)
  • Term Time only

Must have:

· A caring, patient nature

· Friendly and nurturing qualities

· Has a passion to support and empower children and young people

· Ability to work well independently and as a team

· A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
