Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have a heart for supporting vulnerable individuals and helping them navigate the challenges they face? If so, a leading charity in the Mendips has an exciting opportunity for you as a Youth Support Worker at a Young Person’s provision in Cullompton.
As a Youth Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to up to 18 young people with low-medium needs. You will be involved in a variety of supportive activities, from providing homelessness and mental health support to aiding in the move-on process and crafting personalized support plans for each individual.
Operating on a rolling rota, you’ll be working 37.5 hours a week, with shifts falling between 8am-6pm. Embracing a balanced approach, some weekend work will be required, approximately 1 in 3 weekends to align with the rota. This initial opportunity is offered on a contract basis for approximately 3 months, giving you the chance to make a tangible impact as we seek a new manager for the provision.
