Youth Support Worker 
Location: Salford 
Start Date: ASAP 
Salary: £85 per day 
Duration: Monday-Friday, until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for permanent employment thereafter. 
 
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have experience working with SEN individuals and a commitment to making a positive difference in their lives? 
GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Support Mentor to join our client school based in Salford. As an SEN Support Mentor, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support to students with SEN, helping them to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. 

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments.
- Support students with SEN in accessing the curriculum and adapting teaching materials as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements: 
- Experience working with children and young people with SEN is essential.
- Must be able to start in the new term.
- Commitment to working Monday-Friday.
- Possession of or willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Ability to provide two references upon request.
