Milk Education is currently working in partnership with a secondary Pupal Referral Unit in Bradford that are looking to appoint a Young Offenders Teaching Assistant, to work with their pupils that are aged between 11-16 that are at risk of offending. This is a Monday - Friday role and would require you to work 08.30 - 15.30. As a Young Offenders Teaching Assistant at this school, you would be expected to support the children with learning, managing behavior in the classroom and adhering to all school policies.

Your role & responsibilities:

· Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons

· Helping the pupils regulate

· Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive

Non-negotiables:

· Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with mental health issues. 

· Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30

· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
