Year 6 teacher - Summer Term

We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for the summer term to join our lovely village school located just outside of Cambridge. This role involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking. The ideal candidate will have experience with SATs and a passion for guiding students through this pivotal stage of their education.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet the curriculum requirements.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a good and safe learning environment.
- Prepare students for Year 6 SATs, offering the necessary support and guidance to ensure their success.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in regular meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Engage with parents and guardians to support the overall progress of students.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience in teaching Year 6 and preparing students for SATs.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
