Year 6 Primary Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic primary teacher to join a good rated ofsted school in Bushey as their Year 6 Primary teacher.

At this school, they believe in creating a positive and nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. As the primary teacher for this year 6 class, you will play a crucial role in preparing their students for their transition to secondary school.

Position: Year 6 Primary Teacher

Location: Bushey

Pay: MPS3 to UPS3 £35,205 to £47,839

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Foster a love for learning and encourage students to become independent thinkers and problem solvers.
• Establish effective communication with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing best practices and contributing to whole-school initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS)
• Experience teaching as a Year 6 Primary Teacher
• SATS experience
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Capble of commuting to Bushey on a daily basis
