Year 5/6 Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons to Year 5/6 students, adhering to the school's curriculum and policies.
• Foster a stimulating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all students.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies and resources to facilitate active learning and student participation.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to drive improvement.
• Establish strong communication channels with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behavior.
• Contribute to the school community by participating in staff meetings, parent consultations, and school events as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably with Year 5/6 students.
• Sound knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
• Strong classroom management skills, creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Passionate about education and dedicated to fostering a love for learning.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
