  • Experience working as a classroom TA for at least one month
  • Full time contract until the end of the Academic Year 2023/2024
  • Good Public transport links to Harrow: Metropolitan Line, good bus service links

The successful Year 4 TA will:

  • Work with Class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of students
  • Have good classroom management skills
  • Be able to deal with challenging behaviour
  • Provide support individually or in groups

Academics Ltd are currently working with a Primary school in the London Borough of Harrow who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team.

The Primary school in Harrow is three form entry and achieved an Outstanding judgement in their last Ofsted. The school aims to achieve high standards across a creative primary curriculum.

The Year 4 TA must have previous experience working with pupils at primary level and support class teachers with managing, teaching and resources.

The TA must be able to use effective behaviour management strategies in line with the school's procedures and promote independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.

The TA will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and follow school policies and the staff code of conduct.
