Your new employer has worked with us at Hays for many years and is a lovely small village school which candidates are always eager to return to. They are based in the Staffordshire Moorlands and are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their team.

Your new role
Your new role will be a long-term post covering maternity cover running from May up until the end of the academic year. The role will cover the year four class at the school, and due to the long-term nature will consist of the right candidate taking full responsibility for the position including planning, preparation and marking required within the role.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed within this position, the school are seeking someone who can:

  • Manage difficult behaviour effectively.
  • Plan engaging lessons and constructively mark work.
  • Has Qualified Teacher Status
  • Has relevant Year 4 Teaching Experience.
  • Possesses knowledge of the Key Stage 2 learning curriculum.
