Year 3 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Salary: [Pay is between £153.85 to £196.56 a day depending on experience]

Reed/LTA are seeking an experienced Year 3 Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover basis starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator with a vast knowledge of Key Stage 2 to make a significant impact on young learners’ lives.

Day to Day of the Role:

Delivering engaging and dynamic lessons to Year 3 pupils in accordance with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons to track and enhance pupil progress.

Creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.

Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s ethos.

Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress and development.

Participating in school events and activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2.

Proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment framework.

Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.

Commitment to professional development and staying up to date with educational research.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers and support staff.
