Position Overview:

As a Year 3 Supply Teacher, you will have the unique opportunity to work within different primary schools in Macclesfield, covering planned and unplanned teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons based on the school's curriculum and lesson plans provided.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student well-being.
  • Establishing rapport with students and maintaining classroom discipline and behavior management.
  • Assessing and evaluating students' progress, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring their continued development.
  • Collaborating with school staff to support a smooth transition and maintain continuity in students' learning.
  • Adhering to the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably with a focus on Year 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and understanding of effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and handle varying curricula and classroom dynamics.
  • Valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK.
