Are you passionate about primary education and ready to inspire young minds? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join one of beautiful, two form entry school's enthusiastic team as a Year 2 Teacher for the upcoming academic year, starting in September (could be sooner for the right candidate).

As a Year 2 Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of students, providing them with a supportive and engaging learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference and contribute to the academic and personal development of young learners.

Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the National Curriculum, tailored to the needs and interests of Year 2 students.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of individual students, ensuring all learners reach their full potential.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued, supported, and motivated to succeed.
• Assess student progress through ongoing formative assessment and formal summative assessments, including SATs preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic development of each child, maintaining regular communication and feedback.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance student engagement and promote a love of learning.

Qualifications:

• University degree and PGCE or equivalent.
• Experience within UK schools is required for candidates holding an overseas teaching degree.
• Must have SATs preparation experience.

This is a contract position offering a salary in line with pay scales, with the opportunity for additional compensation dependent on experience and qualifications.
