Year 10 French Tutor - Maghull

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an experienced French tutor or teacher to provide 1:1 support to a Year 10 student.

The successful candidate should be able to offer up to 5 hours of support, over split sessions throughout the school week.

Working as a Tutor through Prospero, you will be a vital part of student development and so the ideal candidate will have a patient and empathetic attitude. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on a students educational journey in order to help them succeed with their studies.

Position details:

• Location - Maghull
• Position - French Tutor
• Student - Year 10
• Duration - Ongoing
• Hours - Up to 5 hours p/w in split sessions, ideally between 8:30am-3:30pm

Experience, Training and Qualification:

• QTS / QTLS / PGCE / EYTS or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in French, MFL, Linguistics, or a related field.
• 2 years experience working in a UK school
• Up-to-date Safeguarding and Prevent Awareness training is desirable but not essential

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
